I hope we can sign him. That would be a great replacement for boss.
If he goes to the Saints he wont be playing much with that beast they have at TE
Bengals, Raiders interested in Dreessen - Houston Texans - CBSSports.com RapidReports
brandon williamsThe agent for TE Joel Dreessen said he has been contacted by the Bengals and Raiders, according to Fox 26 in Houston. Dreessen, who led the team with six touchdown receptions last season, has a scheduled visit with the Saints on Sunday.
another houston product that is an upgrade

Instant upgrade. Would love this to happen.
How much would he cost? I'd rather throw what we have left at LB, RT or another CB.
I think we need to load up on OL, OLB and DB. We also need depth. We have 3 TE on the roster not an immediate need.

well TE is not a huge need (Myers is solid and Ausberry might become a nice rec option). This is another solid signing if it can happen 64 catches 10 tds the last two years.

Most NFL owners hated Davis because he was a 'them', having worked his way up, and also because he had no problem hiring minorities when no one else would. You can only have so many people saying bad things about you before the sheep believe it...And now, the sheep don't even know why they hate the Raiders, it's just always been that way..." - Sir Pig
Myers is an ok backup, Ausberry and gordon have almost no experience.
This would be a huge upgrade/need

Between the Bengals and Raiders? Have to think he'd choose the Raiders where he could easily be the #1 TE as opposed to probably backing up Gresham, unless they open the vault to him; which with their cap space it could easily be done.
well its not that harsh to say he cant block
takes a while for rookies to understand how to block, HB's especially
brandon myers is serviceable, but he's not starter material.
This move feels like dejavu - last year all over again. Is that you Al?!?
