Jersey Question for My Fellow Raider Fanatics

Currently I have a Michael Huff jersey and with his tackling I'm worried he's on his way out sooner rather than later. I've had dozens of jerseys over the years, two Woodsons, Wheatley, Rice, Brown(but I got it signed so it's retired). Anyways to stop blabbing on I'm ready to make my next jersey purchase and I was wondering who you think will be around longest.

I really want a Zach Miller jersey as he played college ball here in Arizona and he's one of my absolute favorites on the team. My backup would be Nnamdi but rumors every season say he's our only trade options. I don't buy the trade hype all the time but AD has made some crazy decisions so it wouldn't surprise me.

What do you guys think? Will a Zach Miller jersey get me some quality years?

Thanks guys! I'll be at the game in Glendale against the Cardinals, looking forward to seeing the Raiders in person again for the first time in 7 years!

How about not wasting any more money on current player jerseys. Buy a Customer authentic with you name on it or buy a legend jersey. Current players come and go too fast.

I'm trying to find an authentic McClain myself. Last one I got was a Russell and before that it was a Moss. Planning on going to my first game in Oakland this year and I need something new.

Ran, I couldn't agree more. I don't know if it was having a son, or the fact that I'm about to have a little girl, but all of the sudden I'm concerned with idea of wasted money. I went threw several authentic jerseys over the years and as you know, those things add up. The one thing I learned from it was, whatever type of jersey you're getting better last you a while, and the only way you can ensure that is to not buy current players. Too much of a risk. JMO

You cant go wrong with a throw back, they will never not be a raider and will always work. I have had BO, Timmy, Gannon and my dumb ass chanced it and got a Moss... it is now a "Murphy" jersey with no name plate lol. The Gannon jersey got signed and is retired. In fact I just bought a new jersey and was debating between Howie and Nnamdi I chose 21... if he doesnt stay a raider for a long time I will be extremely dissapointed. On a side note I got my girlfriend to get a womens raiders jersey, ear rings and a head band its going to be awesome! We better dominate on sunday I swear to buddah...

Im pretty sure Miller gets resigned. Even if he ends up on another team he will be great so there is no shame in that purchase. Wish I had the money at the time to get one of those throwback ones they had last year. Are they still for sale?

Willie Brown was #24. Just rip Huff's name off and put Brown's on it.

Most players don't retire from a career with a single team. Miller's gonna want more money and I don't blame him. Nnamdi has the best shot at hanging around the longest, IMO. Either way he's always going to be a Raider, so buy the Nnamdi.

I only buy throwbacks or customs.

I wouldn't touch a McClain jersey yet man. Dude hasn't looked all that good through the games he's played. I'd definitely wait it out.

No doubt. Out of all my jerseys (Moss, Rice, Sapp, Russell, McFadden) the only one I wear out anymore is my throwback collection Howie Long.

Although, maybe I should try the McFadden this week and see if he can repeat his performance from Week 1.

I agree with this. find a quality throwback player jersey. I have a throwback Mitchell and Ness Ronnie Lott Raider jersey. it's a quality jersey, I also have a Lester Hayes and a Nike Charles Woodson. If you get a throwback you don't have to buy a new jersey every couple of years. and best of all you will always be wearing a winner. XD

Word, I only wear throwbacks or customs with my name and number. Last current player jersey I had was an authentic Black P-Buch #31.
