Raiders re-sign tackle Erik Pears. They have not announced corresponding roster move

Good, looks like our left tackle issue is solved for the next 5 to 7 years. Wonder how we lucked out in getting him back. Heard that Miami was looking for him to upgrade over Jake Long.

swing tackle and I bet he takes Barnes spot on the KR team. they'll also use him as an extra TE. Not a bad move IMO.

Didnt Pears play alot of TE in preseason on short yardage/goaline sets? Fairly pleased with this move overall also, does this mean that Schillens is back this week, having released Figurs, also would Jacoby Ford be given kr/pr duties now?

The fact that Figurs went from starting PR/KR to cut after one game shows how horrible this organization is when it comes to personnel decisions.

anybody else finding it amusing that figurs was cut after one game where dare i say, he was the only WR to make a catch

he must have been doing some terrible stuff when they looked that game over in the film room

sure figurs was cut well welcome to life in the NFL KR fumble and cut the next week! I didnt like cutting pears to begin with and wanted him all along instead of Figurs Pears is good as the tackle eligible tight end on running downs.
