No offense Raiders fans. This seems like a easy choice for TJ.
McNabb- Shanahan- Portis- Santana- Cooley
or
Campbell- Cable- McFadden- DHB- Miller
Im a skins fan though so Im biased.
EDIT: this info is from @dannyoneil (Danny O'Neil (dannyoneil) on Twitter)
T.J. Houshmandzadeh has $7 million in his back pocket courtesy of his guaranteed salary from the Seattle Seahawks.
He's probably not going to be sitting out for too long, though. Houshmandzadeh has not returned messages since being released by the Seahawks and becoming an unrestricted free agent. His decision on where to play next season appears to be narrowing down to either Oakland or Washington, according to a source who had spoken with him.
Houshmandzadeh, 32, led Seattle in receptions last season, but was released by Seattle on Saturday. His 2010 salary of $7 million is guaranteed, but there is certainly an offset clause, which would mean that Seattle is responsible only for the difference of the $7 million total and whatever he would earn from another team in 2010. Most expect him to sign for the veteran minimum in 2010 with another team.

Going by Mcnabb's record for injury's he might not make more than a few games behind that line. I will say that Campbell has made a living behind weak lines so I think if there is even a slight chance the statement made earlier is true TJ would go with the Raiders since we definitely seem to have the better team.

I'll give ya Mcnabb and Shanny but at this point in his career Portis isn't much better then Mcfadden and Bush, Santana isn't anything special and Miller is better then Cooley.
I also think that TJ would probably want to go to a team where he is at least the number 2 option...Raiders can certainly offer that. Toss up in my opinion.
Shanahan is wildly overrated. Riding Elway's coattails to the Super Bowl and then doing dick for the next decade doesn't impress me, and he's already ensured he'll get nothing out Haynesworth this year. Furthermore, McNabb has already been injured once.... and let's be honest, California or DC? This isn't even a choice.
That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the illusion of competence lured him out east. Who wants to deal with Al Davis? (besides people he's currently employing)
OK this really cannot be disputed
Snyder = Davis
Shanahan > Cable
Mcnabb, Grossman > Cambell, Gradkowski
Moss > DHB (more upside at this stage of course but hasnt done anything yet)
I will give the nod to your younger running backs but Shanny has RB by committee any RB will have success with him.
Skins have primetime games with the Cowboys and Eagles. Huge spotlight would be on him.
Not really a TJ fan - old, and has attitude problems. He wasn't cut because he's a BEAST. Funny how Cincy is not blowing up his phone to bring him back...
Also say what you will about McNabb but the guy is a winner at the end of the day and TJ knows the Redskins have a much better shot to make the playoffs.
Plus the DC area is a great place to live. I'll eat my words if he signs with you all.
I'd take him, however, I don't see myself being too upset if he chooses elsewhere.
Raider Rule #1: Cheating is encouraged.
Raider Rule #2: See rule #1
"The Raiders Will Be Back" -Al Davis
You all have younger QB's but Campbell is practically snake bitten dont know if he will recover. Gradkowski is pretty good dont get me wrong but I can not envision Grads ever being in a superbowl. I cant even imagine him making a decent playoff run.
McNabb is proven and if TJ wants to WIN NOW DC is the place to do it. The guy doesnt want to build for the future.
