JaMarcus Russell...did ya have to ask?
JaMarcus Russell
Lane Kiffin
Simple Question:
JaMarcus Russell...did ya have to ask?
I don't really hate Kiffin, so JaMarcus. And only as a player really, I don't know him as a person so can't really make a judgement.
Well...JaMarcus Russell defrauded the Oakland Raiders. What did Lane Kiffin do?
JaRobitussin by light years.......Lance doesnt bother me at all. I hope he does great at USC......

Considering Kiffin didn't even want Russell and wanted Calvin....................... tough one..
10-1 when I voted. Good to see Dbat is around.
I voted Jamarcus.
I want to change it to Lane
Hate is a pretty strong word. These are football players. I dislike Jamarcus because he is a lazy, not very bright waste of good cash and time. I have no problem with Kiffin. Met him once he was very cool with me and very forthcoming.

I believe I see right through them both… Russell's an incompetent, strong-armed kid, and Kiffin's a spoiled brat scum bag. Hate is a strong word but I’d have to apply it to Kiffin first, if anyone.

I discussed this previously, Jamarcus Russell will go down in history as the most hated Raider ever by Raider fans.
Hate is a strong word, but a word that very well fits the situation. We have had players drafted high and flopped, yet never receive this level of disdain. We have had players with huge contracts not produce, yet never had this much malice towards them. We have had players that have given up on the team, still not near the degree of disgust was shown. As a loyal member of the only true Nation we and I have seen many players who deserved to be hated by us, but never have i seen a player hated to the level that Russell has reached.
Is a large part of that his own fault, absolutely. In a time when we were desperately looking for an answer, the person to turn this proud franchise around after years of incompetence we drafted a QB with the unrealistic hope that he was the solution. Many of us had our doubts about Russell from the start and that only fuels the hatred we hold toward him when he did not live up to our unrealistic expectations. (work ethic and commitment are one thing and not what im referring to, im referring to our expectations of a QB to turn around a program while being put in possibly the worst situation in history for a young QB). When the organization and Jamarcus Russell failed to improve the situation, Russell made it easy for us to hate with his lack of commitment and huge contract.
Once again, am i saying that hatred isnt deserved, absolutely not. I am just saying, this fan base has proven that it can forgive murderers, rapists, drug users, quitters, cheaters, loafers and all around questionable character types. But we are blinded by enough hate that most will never forgive a 23 year old kid for half assing his job for a year and a half. That is concerning to me.
Is hate a strong word, yes, but do you ever recall this level of hostility towards one player by this large of a fan base?

Voted for JaMarcus. I can't say I "hate" either of them, although I can easily say that I "dislike" JaMarcus far more than Kiffin. Some of the things that Russell has done to the fan base (can't elaborate) has been downright disrespectful and completely unwarranted. Kiffin never did anything coming close to what JaMarcus has done to the organization as a whole.

Darnell Dockett speaking about Darren McFadden, the BEST running back in the NFLI have great respect for that man. That (expletive) runs hard, I mean harder than anybody I've ever seen
