Just like yesterday, we were targeting Okung and Williams, both off the board, we went with the next best thing. I think getting the LB now, forces us to look at the Line prospects the next 2 rounds. Now if Clauson is sitting there, I'd think about moving down and collecting an extra pick.

    Good question...

    OUr D-Line is shockingly thin...

Kelly ~ I still like him a ton, though I have to admit he has yet to earn that big pay day he got.

Seymour ~ A guy that can slide in a and play DT. Basically, a superstar DL in the NFL.

And then it's nada mucho: William Joseph? Bryant? Richardson? Nothing to tie your wagon's to.

I like Shaughnessy too, but we have not seen enough of him.

All of the above being said, if we are moving to a 3-4 (or 3-3-5 as some have suggested) then the people we have in house may be enough to satisfy...

However, Tommy Kelly is not the prototypical 3-4 Tackle.

All in All, It's a great spot to be in.

We can draft Tackle, (OT or DT), we could draft QB... We could draft Taylor Mays, etc... And many on this board would be happy.

I guess there is a silver lining to being a 5-11 team! Not much you DON'T need come draft day

Yes, he is on my Mt Rushmore... Right next to Darth Vader and Lloyd Bridges.

Ill take Al Bundy as our QB over JaRobitussin.....

BPA for rounds 2 and 3, rest of the picks track stars galore or developmental projects.

The Raiders cant possibly be thinking of going into the season with the current QBs. Each one is more of a bum then the next one... We can not win with these guys.

Jason Campbell will be in the Silver and Black!
“We had a three-time All-MAC wideout, 6-foot-5, 210 pounds,” Azzanni said. “Mitchell just knocked the absolute piss out of him. I thought he killed him on the sideline. That’s how hard he hit.”

my goodness man... jamarcus lost the job already, move on.

with coach cable back, we have to be assured the best qb will play, dont believe all this nonsense about hue is gaining confidence...

that being said, we need OT not only to protect BRUCE, but to make holes for the horses! Anyone seen campbells sports science on espn? although i dont think hes the best player available, he is a beast, thats for sure.
    Draft over... lets roll.

Thank you for understanding the meaning of the word "OR".

Anyway, as excited as we are about Rolando Mclain, remember a MLB is as good as the DT's in front of him much as the OL protecting the QB. Some of you seem to understand this. Ray Lewis is at his best when he has DT's to eat up the blocks, freeing him to make the play. At this point I would take the best available DT or LT at that spot. You probably have a better chance to find a good DT to eat up blocks than a LT in the rounds 3-7.
