    Saffold in the second

Pray for Linval Joseph to be there in the third and be ready for the 3-4 conversion

Absolutely loved the McClain pick I truly did

but.....Taylor Mays is still on the board....and we are the Raiders...We have had 7 years of mediocrity and questionable picks....so one pick hasn't changed my mind just yet. Im sure you can understand that...

But I hope we take an offensive linemen or Cody.

tom also mentioned we would focus on offensive line and add another piece to the secondary. he was pretty convincing when he suggested it wasnt just one position on the o-line, he just wants bodies. last year he didnt get his wish. this year?

i think this would be phenomenal:
    2. cody
    3. ciron black
    4. matt tennant
I like the McClain / Cody connection. I understand the risk with Cody is keeping his weight down. If McClain is the influential leader they say he is, then maybe he can motivate the montain man to stay in shape.

As to Cable's comments, we just don't know if they targeted the top DTs because they perceive it as the top need, or simply because Suh and McCoy are the best two players in the draft.

Didn't Cody surprise everyone at the combine when he came in 20lbs lighter or so?

A LOT of nice players will be there at our pick, would love to see a DT to pair Mclain or an OT or Clausen, either way it would be hard to screw this up.

I'm not so worried about the weight for the short term...gilbert brown, fridge and all of them had weight issues but played at a high level initially.....but let's remember...from what I read he has been continually losing weight for 2 years so he isn't really have an issue keeping weight off, but instead is trying to get from almost 400lbs to 340lbs.

Oops...I take it back..he was 370 at the senior bowl...going in the wrong direction

Before you challenge the Raider Fans to sell out the Colisseum or say the locals don't support the team Please Read Raider187's extremely informative post: http://www.raiderfans.net/forum/oakl...ance-woes.html

I like Golden Tate a lot personnaly. I would be really tempted to take him.

In 3 years I think he has a very good chance to be in the Pro Bowl.

But yes, the offensive line needs to be addressed and Clausen is also very tempting.

Though spot but at the same time you almost cant make a bad decision. There are enough good players left, thats the beauty of the situation.

I agree with this, and to add to it......

If we can take OL or a DT in the 2nd Round, after taking McClain 1st, this has the makings (it's at least the beginning) of a very...very good draft for us.

I'd like Mt.Cody 2nd round or even Price from UCLA.
Then if Campbell is there 3rd round and we take him, that would be a Great draft for us. At least on paper. lol.

Gotta go trenches in the 2nd...we gotta.
    Maybe a Run-Stuffer....AT LAST!!
Thats what Im gonna say if we draft one of these DT's in the 2nd.........
At Last Baby!!!!! C'mon AL, handle this thing right!!!!!!

I'm loving the talent still on the board. We can get ourselves an impact player for sure. Listening to Cable's press conference after the draft, it really sounds like he's dying to address to continue addressing the trenches. I'd be shocked if we walk away without a tackle today, though there's still that Clausen wildcard on the board. I suspect someone will either trade up for him or he'll go to Cleveland if we don't make a move ourselves.

And there are a handful of other DTs on the board besides Cody, if we have concerns about his weight and/or stamina.

I have a feeling Al will pick campbell since he didnt get him in the 1st, I hope not though.

I hope the Raiders want Campbell in the 3rd Round. If we can draft him in the 3rd round, that would be a really good move. My wishes are Price or MT CODY in the 2nd, and Campbell in the 3rd. That would be Great!!!!

I'd be very happy with Tate too. He'd be an upgraded JLH, maybe a Harvin type. Our return game being improved is a huge need so Tate would be hard to pass up, especially if out main targets are gone.

I would love to have B. Price, but I would take T. Mays. Oakland might be able to get Cam Thomas or Lamar Houston in the 3rd.

The Giants have said they won't be trading him.
