Didn't think it would actually happen. There was lots of talk, but I'll be damned if they didn't get the effort organized and made it a reality.

Even tho I dont think it will really do anything cause I dont think Al really cares how the fans feel I like it.

Obviously it's working then. To an extent at least. If someone that close to Oakland and that nationally known is writing about it, then it's getting recognition and it will gain even more now.

I agree. I don't think Al will lose much sleep over this but at least its garnered attention from the fans and local media. If it were to gain some momentum and reach the national media, the Raiders might actually have to address it in a press release or something. I think that would be a small victory for this effort.

If it's on that billboard next to the gas station on High Street, it'll get A LOT of attention. Either that one or the one a little further down in the Fruitvale station.

I'm going that way in a couple of hours so it will be interesting to see it and where exactly it is.

The Raider Nation should not stop there, they need to keep making their voices heard and that billboard, not to mention journalists publicizing the billboard, is only the beginning.
