Bruce Gradkowski talks with Greg Papa on today's (11.21.09) Silver and Black show. Complete segment so lots of info about our new starting quarterback including his high accuracy.
Deff looks like a young Jeff Garcia, gotta love his confidence.
Hopefully, like Jeff would have, He'll make or break Jamarcus... Whatever is left of him
Better than what Jamarcus would have said. I dont mind the benching of Russell as long as they don't give up on him, but this interview should have been with Jeff Garcia, long time ago.

Does anyone think that we will see Heyward-Bey's production lift with Gradkowski at QB? I think the balls are much more catchable from Bruce and Darrius's poor hands could be covered up a little. Seeing in those highlights it seems he was making catches with more comfort from Gradkowski than he ever was with Russell.

I feel a little bad for Gradkowski. It seems to me like Al and cable knew this stretch of 3 games would absolutely destroy JaMarcus so they've thrown Bruce to the lions to save #2 complete and utter embarrassment. Then they'll bring him back in against the Redskins and pretend that he's made "progress" during his three weeks warming the bench.
Having said that I'm 100% behind Grads and while its not an ideal situation there's millions of people who would kill to be able to start as an NFL quarterback. I hope he makes the most of it. Seems like a good kid.

Or it could completely flip, he could actually play well, and then the Office would have to have fun trying to frame Grad for some rules violation so they can bench him and get Russ back on the field.

AHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH you people who thing Garcia was right for this team. Why isnt he playing somewhere right now? He is such a proven winner, wouldn't some team out there be aching to get him as a #2 backup or even a starter on a ****ty team? Nope instead his ass is sitting the bench behind Kolb and cujo. He couldnt stay healthy during non contact drills and you think that he would be able to sit there and take hits and run his ass off every week. Garcia is done in this league.
I just wish starters who had good careers would just retire instead of rotting on the bench as backups. I bet you money you will never see manning, favre, brady as backup QB's.

i doubt that much thought went into it. JR is not running the offense well enough to keep the starting job. not to mention we are losing. i would like to see ski keep the job for the remainder of the season by playing better than JR. i like the touch ski puts on the ball, much easier passes to catch. i doubt we will see under 50% completion rate. you guys want run after the catch, this is the guy to run that kind of play action. hes quick, accurate and fiery, just what the dr. ordered. props to the coaching staff for having the courage to make this move.
good guy... i hope he does very well today... the only thing that worries me is his height and seeing over the line... but that can cured with play calling... which we know cable lacks... but maybe it was because of JRuss? who knows
