Let people do what they want to do, show their emotions as they feel like as a frustrated Raider fan. Last time I checked, the Raiders are in America. People have a right to show their emotion as they see fit. If you don't like that, I would recommend becoming a fan of a team in a country ran by a dictator. Then, everyone will have to tow the line.

Ive been a fan 29 yrs and as a True Raider fan see those with bags as peeps that liked the Raiders but only when they win. Thats not a true fan so let them wear their bags. Its just a sign that they are hurting the team and they dont care. Its they that are taking any pride that a Raider player has and throw it out the window.
If one wants to wear bags then move to Denver....they have a winning record and they wont have to. As for me.....Im a Raider true to my heart and would never do this to my team that has done all one can ask to get better. I guess effort gets no credit and its a sad day that anyone would wear a bag.
I love the Raiders and it pains me to see them lose but moreso to to see the fans turn on them.

I agree with the OP. IF you wear a paperbag that means you don't want to identify yourself as a fan of a certain organization, so if you don't want nothing to do with that organization why don't you just go to a different team or quit being a fan at all or just don't wear that bag? Ridiculous and it is kinda irritating seeing all these emoticons on the site.

It is embarrassing being a fan of this dysfunctional franchise, and I can't think of a better way to show that besides not attending games than to wear a paper bag over your face. If Al Davis was 30 and I thought he would run this team the same way for the rest of his life, I honestly don't know how I would react. I personally think Al is suffering from a Mental Health issue and that is my honest opinion.

Luckily I am only 28 and hope to outlive the old man and in doing so, see some progress eventually. Until then

It is not really the fans turning on the players. It is the fans turning on Al Davis and it is BECAUSE he DOESNT do all he can to make this team better that they turn on him. Then again, some people are happy with a C grade in School when they can get an A. Some people simply accept being mediocre when they can be excellent. They don't care. I dont have respect for people that dont give everything they are capable of giving.
