What do you expect from JaMarcus/Dmac/DHB tonight?
Here is my guess.

Dmac 15 carries 82 yards 1 tds 4 cts 44 yards
DHB 3 cts 55 yards
Hopefully a win.

It all depends on the OL If we can run the ball that will set up the pass. If we can get DMC in the open spaces I think he will make some plays. If Russell gets the time to throw he needs to be on target and he must make the correct reads. As far as DHB goes I'm not expecting much from him as far as making plays but who knows he could be the next Jerry Rice. Time will tell! We have a chance to win this game and If we can It will go a long way towards us having a good year.

Russell: Lead us to victory
McFadden: Have a big game
Heyward-Bey & Murphy: Show up, play hard, make a couple plays to keep the defense honest.

what I expect...him....what I HOPE to see is a nfl professional team for 60 minutes....
If that happens we have a chance. This is a tough game for any team in the league...but we must beat them..they are our division rivals and all roads go through them.
I expect us to have a shot at them. Cable has had 8 months to prepare for this game and has seen them before...there aren't going to be any surprises here...they're running off tackle with LT or sproles. If we have Huff shadow gates he will be a limited factor...which he has been agains us for some time. We have to tackle...we actually have been playing san diego tough lately...our offense has to come through on their end.
Run the ball right at merriman...stop the pass rush in it's track...if we can do that the play action will work...DHB needs to double move on single coverage to the outside...if he's one on one..try to make a play if the safety tries to help...someone shoudl be open underneath.
If they blitz...throw to the side the blitz is coming from....you know they're going to blitz...if it's picked up you should have zach miller in the seam...just like you got em 3 or 4 times last year with.

riiight, because 6 TD's per game would only be 96 Td's over the season LOL
Russell: 17 for 30, 220 yards. 1 TD 2 int's, 1 fumble lost
McFadden: 12 car, 30 yards, 5 Rec, 50 yds, 0 TD's.
DHB: 3 Rec, 35 yds, 0 Td's
------------------------------------------------------
Murphy: 6 rec, 70 yds, TD
Miller: 4 rec, 50 yds
offense puts up 13 points. Higgins sets us up for another FG with a nice PR.
27-16 SD

I just hope they play well enough to keep the game respectable, or even close enough to give us a shot at winning.
It's all on the offense as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure the defense will be able to do much.

This year i have no expectations over the years...i was always pumped for the first game ove the year...sure of the team they where gonna come out and get that W...
this year i realy don't know what to expect...i mean asked me this after last years game and i would have said W for sure..after we beat the Bucs...i felt we where on the right path...
over the offseason..i wonderd listened and did some homework...then the Saints game came allong...crunched...this might has something to do with the feeling i have over this day...and in my cut...i am swinging around between...the saints game was good for us...get everyone focussed on doing more...focessed on doing the little things that it has to take to beat the chargers..
the next moment i think of the chargers...beating up on us like the last 11 games we played them and what we could possibly do to stop them..Aso...injury...Kirk...not 100%...our best WR out...two rookies at WR..the whole Seymore thing...the whole Cable thing..
imo there is only one thing we can do...and that's run the ball pound the rock with Dmac and Bush...short quick passes to take pressure away from the blitzing chargers...who will get to our QB in a hurry...on D we have to be conservative...stay on the line and let them come to us...apply pressure on key downs...and get some breaks..here and there...because rivers will carve us up...he's realy stepped up his game...the RB's i am not scarred of how strange that may seem...but we just have to kick mini mouse out of there asap and my hope is LT is not the back he was...if we can do that we maybe have a chance..to get our first W in some while against a realy good team...
but whatever happens tonight i will support our team no matter what the outcome...here's to hoping the change has come..it's about time..

I'll admit that JaMarcus is my favorite player. That said, having watched him every year while at LSU; this is going to be the year that he makes that leap to stardom in this league. He's progressing at a similar track to what he did at LSU. The game has started to slow down for him.
