As if it was ever in doubt!

Kirk Morrison was limited in practice Tuesday, but is expected to play and will start at middle linebacker, Cable said. He’ll be flanked on the strong side by Ricky Brown, who will start ahead of Jon Alston.
Morrison to start at MLB, Brown at SLB - Inside the Oakland Raiders - A look inside the world of the highly classified Oakland Raiders from the writers of Bay Area News Group

Morrison has been team-leader in tackles for several seasons.
    He is superior to Brown.
I hope it (the battle for MLB) was intended to just stop him being complacent.

    Brown (SAM), Mo and THOW

That's how they'll line up for the first game.

Looks like to me that McFadden will start also unless Fargas really turns it up at the end of the week.

    McFadden will start.
I have no doubt about that.
I'm just hoping that the Raiders will refrain from making their first offensive play a pass to DHB,
So bloody obvious and thus so frigging stupid.
If it happens the "Al Davis calls the plays" brigade can say everything they want and anyone who plays the contrary card needs to get to a life.

I really don't think that will happen. Now maybe a dump off to Miller could be realistic depending on how our OL holds up against SD's pass rush. It is going to be intereseting to say the least...

I still think we should start the game by sending Bush, bull rushing right at Merriman. Just seek his ass out and keep pounding it at the dude, then when he's tired, drop back and go deep.
