Depending on differents read, the cap hit could be between 10millions (without the injury case) or 14,5 / 15 millions with this injury case (and obviously we have to pay this injury case, if not it could hurt our "image")

Regardless of what the cap hit is I still can't believe this fool was ready to retire and Al Davis talked him out of it. That has to be one of the worst business decisions in the history of sports.

    re

I don't see us getting rid of him because of the CAP hit if we do.

They need to have the reverse deal thing they have in the nfl like in the nhl. If a player doesn't play up to what u pay him u can take him to arbitration. I mean **** the players can hold out any time they want. I think the owner's should be able to lock them out and force them to re-do there contracts when they don't live upto what they are being played.

We just need to restructure his contract and hope that he can come back and have at least a 50plus catches, with 700plus yards, and 5-6TD's. If he can do that, then I'll be fine with restructuring his deal.

I still don't understand WHY we paid Javon that much money. Were we in a bidding war with some other team?? To this day, it makes absolutely no sense to me.

The problem may be getting him to agree to restructure. The dude has Al bent over a barrel right now and is under no obligation to help Al out. His signing and Hall's signing and release are going to be painful.
