I would be ok with this IF, and it's a huge IF, he is given TIME to succeed, not just fired after the honeymoon period is over and Al gets impatient again.

If Al hires Jim and of course Jim wants to be hired and Al follows through on the quote that he may be bringing in a GM type person, then well ummm I dont even want to say it. nvm

Why the hell should he be hired?? What has he done to prove he's a GREAT or even good HC? A win against USC last year is good enough?? We need a proven HC that has some wins in the NFL level. If he gets along with Al it only means he's going to be another puppet. I'll pass.

At this point, whatever the f*ck works, I'm all for it, I just want to see a NON losing season, FOR ONCE. If Harbaugh loves the Raiders and Al loves Harbaugh like has been reported, then I guess it's a match made in heaven, who the hell knows anymore.

Al Davis is the Head Coach. Open your eyes people. If doesn't matter if Jesus coached the team. Seriously. We do this crap every other year. ____________ for head coach.

Amen Poke. As far as waiting for this season to be over, I have been waiting for the last five years to be over.

I don't know but I do know whoever is coaching the Raiders next year has to be the teams coach, not Al's coach. We need a coach that can really change our Teams mentality with a winning attitude. Or... maybe hire Indiana Jones as our GM to find a magic wand to fix our team.
