Hiram or Huff against Heap?
Huff's better at coverage but Eugene made some TD saving tackles.
I think Huff dropping a Brett Favre duck at the 7:55 mark in OT may have him watching Eugene play more.
On 3rd and 4 at their own 16, Favre drops back to pass, he rolls to his left to avoid the pressure and lobs one to a well covered receiver. Its over thrown. Huff comes up and closes on a ball thats like fielding a soft punt.
DOINK!
It bounces right off his chest plate.
Instead of Oakland getting the ball at the 35 (a 42 yd field goal is well with in J.Kow's range) the drama dragged on.
Uuugh! HUFF!!!
C'mon!
Wheres the break out game?!
He may be losing his chances if Hiram has another solid game.
We'll see more of Huff against Heap this Sunday, but if he doesn't start snagging picks or forcing fumbles, this kids gonna go bye bye and prove to be another lousy DP.

Him dropping that easy INT was the final nail in the coffin. I've gave up on Huff and Curry and will like dependable replacements in the offseason. I want both off the team completely.
Hey this was my 14, 000 post LOL Didn't even see it coming.

Huff is better in coverage how?
Eugene played great in both aspects, an easy upgrade over Hall.

HOLY CARP! congrats! thats crazy!
You know, I was thinkin' the same thing when he dropped that one. "Thats it! He's done."
Could've turned his whole career taking a Brett Favre INT back for the TD in OT.
*Sigh*
Another wasted pick.
I'll wait for someone to post the obligatory "Who we could've had instead" thread.

The one thing about Huff people point to as his strong suit has been his coverage on some of the Leagues finest TE's. Gonzales, Gates and even Scheffler.
Too bad he can't read, range and make plays. Damb!

Who knows?
If he's around next year and plays FS again, he may have a Nnandi like break out year.

Haloti Ngata
That wasn't the most talent-laden first round, in my opinion. Although some wanted Leinart...
Anyways, although Huff has stunk up the field this year, I'd much rather see him guarding Heap than Eugene. Eugene does not have very good coverage skills.

I agree
But Haloti Ngata hasn't been that good this year.
If Robbie would wise up, he would know that huff is only good at 2 things blitzing and man to man coverage. We shall see how huff is used this Sunday.

Someone gets it Stick him at corner and use him in long yardage situations where we can blitz him.

Huff does not belong on the field. Should not be on the field and when she is, the defense plays poorly because of it. She should have her a$$ glued to the bench never again to be seen on the field.

heap isnt doing much this year 11 catches 120 yards miller basically has double those numbers, i think rookie qb and injuries of the past are holding heap back i am not too worried about him
we match up well against their apssing game, look at the stats of most of the WRs who faced us since week 1 it is the underneath passing game that is hurting us Shut Down mason and really there is not much else there on the ravens

eugene and this isnt even debatable.
1. heap isnt a factor. they only use him to block.
2. baltimore is gonna run the ball all game.
3. huff sucks at everything football related.
