Branch and Chaz Schelins were great late picks to grab. I hope they stay for years to come.

Two things I like about Tyvon Branch is

1. He's a "football" player with skills.

2. He's very fast and the reason why Coop hung up the cleats.

It's also a bonus that his dad is a diehard Raider!

From having the chance to watch his work up close in Buffalo, Tyvon Branch is a blazing gunner. When this guy was taking off and heading downfield you could almost see his drag in the blistering rain.

Him and Shane Lechler are one heck of a combo. Will have to wait for PR because JLH has been very good so far and most of all took care of the football. Maybe a designed lateral Higgins to Branch vs the Saints? Having two weeks to prepare it would be nice to do some special things.

Maybe this is good, we can use him more returning kicks and use Higgins more at WR. Higgins at WR makes defenses respect his speed and that opens up a lot of stuff underneath. And maybe he can push Huff because branch is a far better tackler than Huff is.

How has Branch looked on D? I have only been able to see the first game so far. I know he got that pick against KC, but other than that I have no idea how he has done when he has been out there on D.

Maybe with Huff not really being what he is expected to be give Branch some more time out there. Not saying he should take his spot completly but maybe get more time out there and see what he has.

I have been hearing good things about his ST's play and that is awsome always need good Special Teamers. Im sure with Higgins getting more and more involved in the passing game that throughout the games Branch will get some of the returns. Higgins will probably get most of them but Branch will get some to give Higgins a break adn keep him fresher throughout the game. At least that is my guess.

BRANCH CAN TACKLE!!!!!!!!! Which is something the Raiders lack, he can play both D and Special teams. He is a awesome player!

If Michelle Huff doesn't pan out this year I say give the bum the Derrick Gibson treatment and let this guy Tyvon get some looks. Sick of waiting for these science projects that don't pan out.

Thats kinda what I was thinking and saying. We know that Branch can tackle and that Huff cant.

Branch has an interception too with a cast. So it wouldnt hurt to put him back there more and see what he can do.

you know what the funny part of all this is? Its the fact that the very first FOOTBALL GUY we have drafted in a very long time and it a frickin DB, lol!!! I guess the odds where in the DB's favor tho. This is the kind of player that usually a Belichick usually drafts. I hope he does pan out tho. Just thought it was funny.
