i watched i know what he said. And im telling you he said that because of the money issue with Kiffin. Al can bullshyt with the best of them, and i would bet anything that he wouldnt have fired Kiffin.

Then you and Nhamdi are watching the wrong teams offense. IF yall are watching our offense then you can see its teh same way its been for the past 5yrs. And he would see that Kiffins play calling ability is really hurting this team not helping it.

In which case, why is Asomugha upset in any way.
I'm calling Kiffin a liar. Otherwise Asomugha would not have had much association with Kiffin.
Damn good point, it also makes me wonder about the call he got right before the interview.

Al, right or wrong, basically said Kiff was let go for cause and (proved the reasoning behind it). I dont think player allegiances came into play, but he did quickly say that the players also like Cable and the owner. Kiffin was a likeable guy to the players he did not call out in the press, but does not insinuate they also dont like Cable or Al or any other coach. Football is a business and Al did what he thought he had to do. The players will now get behind the new coach and keep trying. Even Nambdi said that Huff called him before he went on the air to tell him that Cable was the good guy that went around the locker room meeting with players and encouraging their performance. I think he will be well liked by players too.
Please explain to me how Al proved his reasoning............I heard a lot of accusations............It's he said -he said as far as I can tell......I'm sure Al has a stooge or 2 to vouch for him, which proves nothing.

Kiffin is gonna get his money no doubt in the end i think and i also believe he should but the fact remains Kiffin should have been fired for his lack of production on the field. Their is a difference between being young and making inexperianced mistakes and making gawd awful calls that cost your team wins.

Nice job of giving him an equal opportunity to prove himself by already negating anyone who corroborates his story.

He said the majority of the locker room was behind Lane. I wonder how Al Davis feels about this?
It's not a breaking news story, everyone knows and all of the players who i've seen speak on it have all said that everyone liked Lane and they played hard for him.

He's gone.

I was happy to see something finally done so we could move on but, it's apparent that this story will go on probably for the next 20 years. Get over it, I liked Lane, he's gone...Cable is in, let's win some games.

I just think it wil be a tragedy when Nnamdi bolts from here. It's hard to believe he'll sign a long term deal this offseason, given the turmoil and our cap situation already having $70 mil invested in Mr. burnt toast D. Hall. And if we franchise him again we can kiss him goodbye, 110%, no question about it.

I realize people are all about saying the right thing but honestly, just remember Nnamdi is a team captain and respected leader in that clubhouse. If the players were not on the same page as Nnamdi they would likely be furious that he went on TV and said what he said.

Also don't be surprised if Al views Nnamdi's comment as a "lack of loyalty." Al is big on loyalty, (aka only people that kiss his ass and stroke his ego are allowed in the building) so after sitting there for 30 mins and trashing his former coach, he likely was not happy watching his best player openly show support for him.
