Kiffin canceled PC
Kiffin won’t be holding a press conference as he told TV reporters earlier today. After Davis’ performance, Gary Uberstine, Kiffin’s agent and attorney, told his client to clam up.

“Earlier today, Lane Kiffin told members of the Bay Area media that he intended to hold a press conference on Wednesday, October 1, to address his departure from the team. In light of today’s events, we have advised Lane to cancel all future interviews for the time being.’’

No i think Al was completly out of line with the press conference. He doesn't have to prove any of those accusation to the media or public. This has become a legal matter, Kiffin can claim defamation of character leaving davis in violation of the contract.Kiffin never said anything directly negative about Al Davis.

Truth is davis probably lost the case with that press conference regardless of how much of it was true.

All coaches we have had in the last 5-6 years have been a joke and I dont see that changing now or anytime soon. All the "great" HC's are much too smart to wanna come work here. So Cable is our man now, lets roll with it and hope for the best.
