Every NFL owner, GM, coach, player and fan is laughing at our team today. The press conference was a joke. Something must be done! Whether it is Tagliabue, all of the owners, or both, action must taken to stop Al Davis from continuing to ruin this franchise.

to all those laughing. I don't even think about those people, why do you? All this laughing goes away with wins, we just need to win. But don't kid yourself a lot of other owners are wanting this to happen, you think Bowlen is shedding a tear and wanting a strong Raider franchise?

I think waaay too many threads like this is a disgrace when you could have posted this is one of the others. And Tagliabue is retired by the way

I didn't see Tom Cable laughing, in fact he said this was a dream for him to get this opportunity.

Aso was on NFL network and wasn't laughing either, he thought Cable was a good choice.

My bad...Goodell...and yes, it does matter that we are being laughed at. Don't you want a REAL head coach to consider coming here? Or would you rather have a former college HC who went 11-35 at Univ of Idaho.

Well if you believe that it's never going to be changed with Al here. If it's fact now that we can't get any coach because of Al, that will not change, keeping kiffin or not. That bridge has been crossed a while back if you believe that and in that case you might be right. But who was Cowher before Pitts? A special teams coach in Cleveland? Who was any coach before they were a HC? If was as bad as the negative side wants me to believe, imo all coaches should just leave Oakland right now. But there not, why?

Al Davis crossed into unchartered territory today by calling Kiffin a "liar." He is attacking his character and purposely making him undesirable to future employers. What potential coach, young or old, would want to take the risk of not only being fired, but also having his character assassinated to the point where he could not ever get another job in the NFL.

Who said that bringing in a guy is the way to go! Who is there to bring in? The ones out there we dont want. You want hassel,cower isnt coming here your crazy if thats in your mind.Who else Dennis Green,come one give a guy a chance and lets see what happens.

I am not saying that Cable is the next Madden,or Flores. I dont think Al deals better with guy's who know whats up and have been here. The two best coaches we have had are from in house. The only one is Gruden thats it.

I want to see what Cable can do. I am backing him up. He got me onboard with the way he talks and he doesnt bull****.

As a diehard fan, I hope everyone is right about Cable....but I heard the same comments about Tom Walsh when he was hired...and guess what...he was ex-HC of Idaho State Univ.
