Call me crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if 11-35 is the best 3 year record for a HC in the Idaho program history.

yes they are, but finding a coach who truly wants to be there unlike kiffin , and does the job well isnt an easy process, IMO kiffin should have gotten the boot as soon as he tried to go after the other job regardless if al would have had to pay him, better to cut your losses with someone who wants to be somewhere else.... al must have thaught it was like a marriage.... cheaper to keep her..

What decent coach could possibly truly want to be in Oakland? And no, it isn't an easy process. Mr. Davis has gone through 8 coaches since being back in Oakland to prove that point.

You are right about Mr. Davis and firing Kiffin, though. He should have fired him and paid him when he decided he didn't want him as coach, instead of running a smear campaign to try and justify not paying Kiffin. He was more interested in winning his battle with Kiffin than in winning football games, clearly.

Bottom line is, Al's thirst for power exceeds his desire to win. It wasn't always that way, but it started going in that direction when Gruden left and continues today.
