I went to the Broncos board for a laugh and read this.

Nnamdi Asomugha sucks...only 9 career INT's in his 6 year career...8 coming in 2006....only averages 37 tackles per season..which means he a) sucks at tackling and b) scared to tackle....

Have you heard garbage like that before?

Personally, I rate Nnamdi as the best corner in the game. Yes, ahead of Champ. I don't remember the last player who teams avoided by not throwing the ball to their side of the field.

God I'm hoping to a Nnamdi INT for a TD. Cutler, throw Nnamdi's way, PLEASE!

That is a Donkey fan who knows nothing about other teams' players besides the stats.

Statistically, Nnamdi is not a good cornerback. But like the saying goes, stats don't tell the whole story.

Nnamdi, if he isn't number 1, is definitely number 2, IMO. He is the best shutdown corner in the game no question, but Champ is definitely a bigger playmaker. The difference is that Champ does get beat, that's why teams try to test him and he often makes them sorry.

Teams don't even test Nnamdi, so it really is apples and oranges.

At any rate, that Donkey fan is just really unintelligent.

Whatever. They can continue to ride Chump's nutsack blindly and not realize anything. A CB's stats are the hardest to judge. Nnamdi is truly the type of player where he's not well known because you NEVER hear his name! But ask players around the league (like Chad Ocho Nuevo Cinco de Mayo) and they'll tell you. Nnamdi is the TRUTH.

...whatever. I was just checking out the Broncos depth chart. I may be a little biased here but we have the look of a team that should dominate them. Their d-line hasn't improved at all and we ran all over them last year.

They do realize that Asomugha is a good player and some on that board you went on have said that the Raiders CBs are better then what they have but seriously who cares what they think cause rival fans will always try and spin something to make it seem like their team and players are better then others. Some members on here does the samething also lets not forget that.
