5 crazy predictions of my own
preseason=gay...and everyone is making predictions of their own, so here are some off the wall ones of my own...
1. due to rob ryan's blitzing scheme this year Thomas Howard makes the pro bowl over kirk morrison, due to int AND SACK numbers
2. the 1st play of the regular season will be the same as the 1st play of preseason...play action streak, only this time it goes for 6
3. it won't be until d-hall has 2 pick 6's until aso sees more balls than he did last year
4. Jay Richardson emerges as our answer opposite of burgess, finishing the season with 7.5 sacks and is big time against the run
5. the raiders beat the chargers, for the 1st time since September 28, 2003, IN san diego to bring them to 8-5, only to lose to to the Patriots and then Tampa Bay in the last week of the season...just barely missing the playoffs...the consolation prize? kiffin keeps his job
just for kicks damzels and fellers...lets hope i am wrong about the 2nd half of the last one... i'd love to hear some other fun/somewhat possible predictions

1) Al will control all aspects of the roster (Always Has)
2) If we start slow Kiffin will be gone by week 8 ( Al being Al )
3) We will have at least 1 player tear his ACL again (the odds are just too good on this one)
4) We will get to .500 again this year whether it is with Kiffin or not
5) We will lead the league in Rushing
6) We will split the division this year sweeping KC and splitting with Denver but still fall 1 play short against SD

I like your predictions and think they are all possible. I hope 3 comes true, because if they start targeting Nnam they will very quickly remember why that had stopped.
I'll add:
1.) Tommy Kelly, contract numbers aside, will prove to be a VERY good DT for us

put a few of my own:
1. Kelly has a big year for us
2. We not just beat the donks in game one, but stomp the crap out of them.
3. Offense will start out slow, but the D is considered one of the best in the leauge by mid season
4. Walter starts at least one game this year
5. Javon Walker will be very hot then very cold from game to game

1. Javon plays lights out at Denver and makes a fool of Champ
2. Run D shores up with a big push from Terdell who starts again
3. Tommy is a BEAST
4. J-Rock to Miller 52 times for 500 yards
5. Combined 18 picks for the secondary.

Andrew starts in two winning games and looks good (since the run-pass ration in those games will be 5-1)

Yea u might want to play that last game so we can go 9-7 and make the playoffs....you had us at 8-5 then losing the last 2 games to go 8-7.....tougher to make the playoffs only playing 15 games...lol

Hmmm...
1. Walter never sees the field in regular season (sorry guys - Russell's the man).
2. We rush for >300 yards against the Donkeys week one, Miller catches a T from Russell and we win by 13 but it's not that close.
3. Our defense gets more TDs than Denver or KC get wins. Maybe than both combined.
4. Mr. Davis giggles when Shanahan is fired at the end of the season.
5. Michael Bush leads the Raiders in TDs by RBs

There have been a ton of positive predictions for 5 years and a 19-61 record shows those predictions were more bias feelings than truth.
The Raiders are really good at rushing the ball; Russell is very raw and if the Raiders have to pass, they are in trouble.
Weak WR. They haven't stopped the run in 5 years, and have been terrible sacking the QB for 2 years.
There are still lots of questions. For 5 years the Raiders have talked about what ifs and coulda's but the talk needs to stop and they need to do it on the field.

First of all the 19-61 has NO bearing whatsoever on most of these predictions that may or may not come true this season. Second, the title of the thread is 5 CRAZY predictions of my own. So yes, some of them are a little out there, but nobody said they were truth. Its all in fun man.
