Not Another Stupid Anquan Boldin
Nope this isnt another stupid. Sign a lousy veteran receiver out there. This is an actual get some young blood who produces thread.
I wonder will javon ever recover. Can we release him for his lazy stupid play. And save up all that cash. Can we? Can we get a trade for someone who produces?
ESPN - Wanting new deal, Cards WR Boldin asks for trade - NFL
Anquan Bolden finally lashes out calls out for a trade. Most likely than not he wont be allowed. But dam how nice would it be to have him out there. We wont be having Aso after this year, as horrible as it sounds but its true. Thats why we have another pro bowl cb in Hall. Perhaps we can get that cash and get bolden???? have a actual person , you know who receives the ball and isnt a tight end..... your thoughts??? and dont flame me for posting another stupid SIGN THIS PLAYER THREAD!!
I wonder if kiff would stop his asking for players if he gets bolden... maybe just maybe...

Even tho it's not what this topic is about, I don't want to imagine Aso in another jersey besides a probowl jersey.

I think it's a pipe dream. You were onto something when you said sign a veteran receiver. Right now, our best scenario is that Javon Walker puts it all together by September 8th. As nice as it sounds to trade for Anquan Boldin, it's not going to happen.
And to put it frankly, no way in hell would I trade Asomugha for him. Shutdown corners are hard to find. Even Deangelo is not a shutdown corner.

i never said trade aso. I dont think cards would even take him. They are over the cap i believe with fitsgeralds contract. And yes its sad to see him leave, but chances are he is leaving or else he would have signed by that july 17 date. and d-hall isnt a shutdown corner at all i knew a lot about him b4 he got traded here. But i love his play he is a very passionate football player. And fun to watch. I would rather have Aso protecting our secondary , but we can do a lot worse than d-hall.

Also there arent many Wr's available... Koren Robinson was someone i would have like to see coming. But he is back in Green Bay already. Until next year when Lee Evans is available.

My mistake. But like I said before, it's a dream right now. If Arizona's management is anything like their fans, they will be content with letting Boldin sit out and continually demand a trade. From what we both have heard, the Cardinals have been turning down trade proposals for Boldin. On top of that, there's no guarantee we have given up on Javon Walker and would be trying to pursue Boldin. Al Davis just re-talked him back into playing. I would love to see Anquan in silver and black, but I just don't see it
happening.
And as far as Aso, I'm still holding out hope we do well enough where he'd want to stay and sign a long-term contract. Maybe i'm naive, but until it's final, I'll still be hoping we get some deal done.

Give them a 2009 2nd rounder and a 2010 5th, that is what it took to get Hall. Might have to sweeten it a bit. Problem is he wants a new deal, we should tell Walker we'll take him up on his offer to give back the money.

Isn't 2010 going to be a uncapped year?

ASO will only leave if we tag him again...the rumor was that he was assured he would not be tagged again. If we tag him again...he's gone

I would give up our 2nd in 2009 & 2010 if they would give us Boldin right now.

if the raiders put the franchise tag on asomugha next year which they can do. he has to play for the raiders or sit out the whole year. remember we did the same thing to charles woodson for 3 yrs i believe . but the drawback on that is the money blows up bigtime every year they do it.
