Those of you predicting 11-5 and 10-6 seasons...

Help me find the extra 4-5 wins in this schedule.

Week 1 vs Denver - I'm calling win because they couldn't even stop Josh McCown last year and have gotten worse

Week 2 @ KC - The bottom line is our defensive line isn't much different and Kolby Smith put 150 on them last year. Larry Johnson is healthy, so I'm saying loss.

Week 3 @ Buffalo - I don't understand why anyone thinks the Bills are still a pushover. How are we going to stop Marshawn Lynch? Loss.

Week 4 vs San Diego - the Bolts are either the best team in the NFL or in the top 3. I doubt we even beat the spread in this one.

Week 6 @ New Orleans - the Saints were awful last year, but they're healthy this year. We don't have the talent in the middle to stop McCallister. I think it'll be a close game but ultimately a loss.

Week 7 vs New York Jets - the Jets will probably get 100+ out of Thomas Jones but if Rob Ryan stacks the box and forces Clemons or Pennington to beat us, it won't happen. Win.

Week 8 @ Baltimore Ravens - 2 words: Willis McGahee. Loss.

Week 9 vs Atlanta Falcons - this team is a joke and has as much 0-16 potential as Miami did last year. Win.

Week 10 vs Carolina Panthers - Peppers is healthy this year and I like the strides they made offensively. We don't have the o-line to stop them so I'm saying loss.

Week 11 @ Miami Dolphins - 1-15, nuff said, this team sucks. Win.

Week 12 @ Denver - Another win. Denver looks terrible.

Week 13 vs KC - Johnson and Co. will be hurting from a full season of vanilla offense. Win.

Week 14 @ San Diego - The Chargers will probably be close to clinching and beat our heads in.

Week 15 vs New England - I want to watch this game from a blimp. I'm calling at least 25 fights amongst pissed off drunk people when Randy Moss goes for 250 yards and 3 touchdowns. 49-3.

Week 16 vs Houston - we've never beat the Texans. Ever. Their D-line is underrated and our o-line is crap. Loss.

Week 17 @ Tampa Bay - Tampa will probably be playing for playoff position, we'll be playing for a 7th win. Loss.

I'd say 8-8, hopefully 9-7 or 10-6 if we can squeak out a few tough ones that we haven't been able to in the past few years.

tampa, baltimore, new orleans, houston, buffalo. None of these teams are good enough to call a win against us. Not saying we will win them all but we won't lose them all either.

Tampa was a playoff team last year and has improved since. I don't see how they're not good enough.

Baltimore matches up too well, they are excellent at rushing the passer and running the ball. We can't protect the passer and we can't stop the run.

New Orleans is a different team with all of their pieces healthy.

We've never won a game against the Texans, and they match up well because of their defensive line.

Buffalo has improved year to year, they will be better than they were last year.

Week 9 Vs Atlanta Falcons - This Team Is A Joke And Has As Much 0-16 Potential As Miami Did Last Year. Win.

Week 10 Vs Carolina Panthers - Peppers Is Healthy This Year And I Like The Strides They Made Offensively. and last year it 11-5 got you in the playoffs. lets say i am right, and there is a very good chance im not, in the above post...then the last game of the season we are playing for a tenth win. and 10 and 6 is usually the demarcation for a playoff team.

tampa won the weakest division in the nfc, baltimore has no passing game and an old D, n.o.'s running game is nothing, huston does have a good D line and we haven't beat them but they aren't great, and buffalo has gotten better but we have too.

There is only one way to determine which of those teams is better than ours and that's 60 min of football.

The Bucs were pretty decent until injuries messed them up. Garcia played some good ball for them and they improved their defense in the offseason. They'll also be playing for a playoff spot in week 17 and we probably won't.

I'm hoping for a .500 season... anything else is icing on the cake. There is still too many ??? and not enough depth to win more.

Having said that... I sure hope all of you predicting 10-6, 11-5 end up being right!

6-10 seems realistic.I hope we stay healthy and steal a few and go 8-8.Every year people say we will win 3-5 division games and we are lucky to win any.I just hope we start out strong, the first few games can make/break our season. We open at home and are a 2 point underdog, lets prove them wrong and go from there
