OK -- very logical.
Bashing is one thing, but:
"F*CKING B*TCH!"
and then saying,
"he continues to talk sh*t about us."
OK -- where did he "talk sh*t"? And why is he a "F*CKING B*TCH!"? I'm sure those are guidelines the staff admires, when board members are trying to perpetuate a tough personality, no frills talks in "bashing" a player...
:standing ovations folks:
Do your homework, or read better...
1. I differentiated the off the field behavior to on the field actual performance, and just pointed out that in fact, I would guarantee that such language and angle would never be taken by YOU in context to what I was referring too...
I did say, "His play and off the field behavior are two separate things..."
2. I'm sticking up for him? As evidenced by what?
HA -- it seems like you have no legs to stand on in this argument, and are trying to attribute that angle to me, that, "IM defending him..." and "sticking up for aplayer that deserves no props..."
When I stated in this very thread,
"He's gone. Gooo riddance, onward with the guys we have..."

Oh, and I have stated in the past his deficiencies etc.
Secondary status with Stuart Schweigert gone | Silver and Black Report
He stunk, he had to go, and we upgraded...
So this whole, I'm defending him crap doesnt fly here...
Back to the drawing board.

Hey look, I just have very strong feelings & Stuart Schweigert is one of those subjects that can get me hot a little bit. I can watch what I say around here, I've just f*cking had it with losing that's all.

Um, you tuys need to get a clue...
Stu is a FREE SAFTEY... he should NOT be making as many tackles as he did as a Raider...
dis him all you want, but the reality is that he was in the top 10% or Raiders for tackles for more than one year.
He was a ball hawk in College... made records... than the Raiders tried to make him into a tackleing machine.... and DUH... it did not work.
Prediction.... by the end of the season, you will all be saying whoever is the starter at free saftey sucks THIS YEAR... its the scheme, not the players.

romeo, you have good points. Add to that, that the DL was pitiful and shouldnt have let RBs have a full steam ahead into our 2ndary.
Stu sucked. He was bad. Took bad angles, was a guy who blew coverages etc.
But T.Sands, T.Kelly, and many others up front, the LBs inability to fight off blockers etc., all contributed to that mess that was the Raider run defense too.
And also, liek someone else mentioned, it showed the pitifulness of our roster that no one could outshine Stu in camps and preseason enough to take his job.
It also shows the INEPTNESS of the organization, that they drafted a talented player in Michale Huff 7th overall I believe, and for years, they started a lesser draft pick at the POSITION HE WAS SUCCESFULL at in college over him. Why was Stu even there? Coaching, personnel, front office management etc. all to blame.
Why is a guy making as much money as Huff, with his draft status, playing at a spot where he is limited at, in favor of STU?

like i said who cares
but this guy is nothin but a piece of crap, move on and hopefully in 09 when we play him we will get the thrill of seeing him miss a ton of open field tackles as mcfadden and fargas and bush and Walker and curry blow by his slow bad tacklin ass

Has anyone checked to see if Probowlstu is a member of the Skins boards?
As for Stu, he needs to shut up. All he is doing is showing his new team that he's a cry baby, and that he will sh*t talk you once you or him are gone.

Oh -- and would you have said that to him during one of those meetings where he hung out with fans and was pleasant to any and all? Just asking...
His play and off the field behavior are two separate things, but really...
What did he say that was so inflammatory? It seems were are looking to make more out of it than what it is...
