Why all the hating on Johnnie Lee? He was a ROOKIE last year. Hopefully he learns from his mistakes, and does better this season. Give him at least one more year before you label him a bust. He did look better towards the end of last season. Yeah he's kinda small but that never stopped Dante Hall before. I would like to see Higgins, and Branch or Chris Johnson as our KRs and Deangelo Hall as our PR. but that is kinda risky, if Deangelo gets hurt it could ruin our season!

He did?? What the hell did he do to look better towards the end of last season. Please remind me because maybe my eyeballs were broken.

Do you guys not remember the last game of the season...the Chargers? Our boy Johnnie Lee was all types of awful. Running backwards, fumbling returns, tentative for no reason. He was not good in the least bit. I truly hope he got over the nerves, jitters, or whatever plagued him in the return game last season. I also hope he develops into a deep threat at receiver.

i think he can be like S Smith......from the giants.

dont laugh, that guy kept a number of drives alive for his team, especially in the playoffs and SB too. with the attention on others, he could be that smallish slot guy for us imo.

The biggest problems on this team are the tackles. I'm not even worried about the D-line anymore, all I hear is how Kwame and whoever else they put in are getting beat play after play, and false-starting in practice? Come on now. We had better hope Cable works a miracle, or our boy is gonna look like David Carr did a few years back.

Hell you should be worried. Its not like the d-line is going up against any real competition besides Cooper Carlise on the o-line. With the rest of the o-lineman the Raiders have the d-line should be whooping they ass every day. Which seems to be the case. No how they perform against real competition is the real question.

Our Tackles are getting beat by Burgess in practice when we're in a divison with the likes of Merriman and Dumervil. Looks like Russel is going to be getting picked up off the ground often. Mario Henderson can't even grasp the left side of the line and now we're trying to teach him how to play the right? Sounds like Gallery pt. 2! Hopefully Coach Cable can work his magic but, this dual position/ 'Tweener' stuff is starting to get old! Both side of our lines and our Sam LB have me worried about this year! We didn't do enough to address it in the draft and it might come back to bite us in the a**!
I think were getting more worked up over the tackle position, than needs to be. (right now) Lets face facts Raiders are going to rely heavily on their running game. The running game going to set up the passing game.
From Kiffin words K harris is looking very good as a run blocker and struggling
with his pass blocking. IF Raiders can run the ball consistantly well than you don't get in alot of known passing situations. Third and short and the pass rushing DEs have to play the run first. See the good Denver Broncos teams who when you got them in Obvious passing situiations, they were in trouble. The problem was you really got that team in those situations as they could run the ball consistantly well.
The problem with not having good pass blockers is your team falls behind and has to pass , your not catching up.(see Colts why they beat Broncos all those years in Playoffs)

The key to Oline is one of these tackles must pick up there pass blocking. You have only one weakness than you can roll help to that Olineman.
I'm not getting worked up over Oline till we start to see preseason games.

I like how Wilson is taking time with Huff on the side to teach him some things like the open field takling. That shows leadership and great team worl.

Oh please OT's find a way to get better. That could be scary we might have to run almost every play.

Steve Smith from the NYG is a tough SOB. He was tough at SC and he proved to be very tough during his rookie year.

I don't think JLH will ever be close to Steve Smith in terms of toughness.

Steve Smith has better hands than JLH too.

I hope JLH come out proves my Filipino ass wrong though.
