After we lossed Clemons I had good feelings of Richardson filling the spot. He was a solid rookie and a one of our few bright spots at stopping the run. I knew his pass rush probably only suffered from not getting that kind of play time.
Last year we were all scared of the OL in practice too. Could not Zone block and we did not know what to expect. Got to keep the faith in Kiffin and Cable. It is early and we have to gel. I do not see kiffin letting us get too far into the pre-season without a move if he does not believe the O-line can protect us. |

All I can say about this article is we better run the football 80% of the time. Imagine this...Kwame Harris and Rob Gallery protecting JR's backside. YIKES!..

I ain't worried about Gallery, honestly, I think he is a good fit at LG. Still a bit penalty prone, but the guy certainly holds his own in the interior and he is a very good run blocker. Harris on the other hand, has me sh*ttin' bricks.

Wonder if the O-line is missing some leadership with J-Newberry gone...

Well, I am glad the defensive line is man handling the offensive line for several reasons. First, it tells us which is our weak point is and helps the staff which thing to work on the most. Second, it tells us our defensive line can AT LEAST beat a bad offensive line. Only thing I'd like to know is how Tommy Kelly is doing out there.
