Anotharaiderfan -Thanks for the post. We as "Raider" fans went into training camp knowing we had issues with the left tackle position. Being only the second day, lets give T. cable the benefit of the doubt. I have every confidence that the coach/coaches will correct this issue during camp and thru the pre-season.

I haven't heard poop about Javon Walker doing anything in camp yet at the WR position. All I hear about is the 2 rookies and Drew Carter. Javon Walker better earn that Randy Moss type contract he got. Thats real talk.

Good to see the former Buckeye Jay Richardson stepping up.

Drew Carter seems to be gelling with Russell just fine.

I'm at a loss for words about the O-line. I know it's early but it doesn't sound very encouraging. If I was Russell, I would up the premium on my life insurance policy.

I'll reserve judgement and harsh words about our O-line for a couple of weeks at least. Offensive lines tend to play better later in training camp as opposed to the defense who comes out of the shoot firing away. We've only had three practice days so far. Way too early to tell whether we have serious issues on the line. I know we have issues. We all know we don't have Pro Bowlers on the line. What we don't want is serious issues with the O-line. Hopefully, we'll see some gelling with the O-line in the coming weeks. Maybe even the occasional great block by one of our own during the regular season.

If pass protection is an issue, I guess we are just going to have to run it down their throats.
Oh, darn.
I'm not hitting the panic button just yet.
In preseason.

Agreed!!!
At least we have a starting point with Harris-The Running Game. I sure hope Cable can work his magic. A Lot of bad news on the line, and honestly how good is the defense, if in practice they have it that easy.
I'm excited that Kalimba Edwards is going good, and maybe Greg Spires will contribute as well. It's just hard to gauge the success of these guys so far.

Coach Kiffin had BETTER GET THE O-LINE STRAIGHT. Do it now coach or get your resume ready!!!! Sad to say, but True.

Listen. Nobody is hitting the panic button. But lets not act like eye balls don't work. If this (pass protection, false starting, holding, crap) issue doesn't get addressed early it might snowball into a god damn avalanche. You practice like you play. Im not going to sit around and act like a turd is a chocolate cake. I call it like I see it. You can put chocolate icing on a turd and think its a chocolate cake all you want to. But in reality its a stinking turd with chocolate icing on it.

The offensive line should worry the hell out of us all. We have to pass the ball sometime.

Your so right!
I'm so sick of hearing about how Cable is gonna turn these guys around!
Weve had the greatest O-line coaches ever in Oakland and they couldn't make bad players good. Cable is just the latest in a long line of very good line coaches.

You can't polish a turd----------- A bum is a bum!

I hope were both wrong Poke, but I don't see it.

I've seen us play real good O-line in the preseason and then suck in the regular season. If your sucking in pre-season/camp........I'm not liking the prospects.....
I'm not just responding just to camp --I've been saying this all off season!

I wanna pull my hair out hearing people on the forum talk about our deep passing game!
Before you know it we'll be seeing Gallery trying to play LT again-------you know were in deep doo..............

An offensive line has to be a coehisive unit in order to play well. It is the beginning of training camp and they are learning their blocking assignments and calls. All the defense has to do is pin their ears back and rush. It is a thinking mans game for the offensive line right now. Got to give it some time.
