THe Goal for you ALL - Stop Getting Worked up Over Camp News

I read the training camp news. However, I think a lot of you need to stop over reacting either way. Does anyone remember how we were 4-1 in pre season in 2006 or how Aaron Brooks had a qb rating of over 90 that pre season. Yeah some guys struggle some guys look good, lets just wait to the season to start and see how it unfolds before we jump to any conclusions. When someone like Burgess is tearing it up on every play that maybe a good sign. However, for the most part guys are going to have good days, then bad days as they get back into the fold,

Well so far Russell has been pretty good all along...and I think thats a good sign when he hasn't thrown a pick yet against Hall and Aso even with pocket colapsing quick and him under pressure since our line is kind of struggling.


I agree though, while you always love to hear good news don't over react to it.

even with russell as j mac pointed out George was the best practice player he ever saw George was a good not great qb, i reather have russell be a game player like Gannon

You can't really judge him like that. While I'm not saying he will be a great QB because he is doing good in TC, it is still encouraging to hear about how well he is doing.

I mean if Russell was doing bad some people would judge him and probably say he is a bust. I'd rather good news then bad...but like you said Gameday is all that matters.

I'm not getting all bent outta shape over TC news, but cmon man, I've been watching mother$#^%I*^%@#%$ BASEBALL for the past 4 months, with NO FOOTBALL in sight, so I'm just a little jumpy over here.

What the afternoon performance by Russell tells me is that he must have had time to make the passes to put on such a show. They raved about accurate passes in tight spaces. If he was under pressure he would probably not have been so accurate. This implies good play by our offensive line.
