I don't even bring need into the equation. Just best player available. Age is definitely a factor too. Manning and Brady are both up there in age. So I'd take Carson Palmer and trade Russell for a 1st rounder next year. Last year was the only year Haynesworth was considered the best DT in the game. He clearly has motivational issues or something. I'd love to have him, but not out of all the players in the league. I love Patrick Willis. Fast and Physical. I think after Carson I'd take Willis or Bob Sanders. Gibril can play FS and we have Huff who I might move to corner.

defense: Bob Sanders - brings attitude, toughness and leadership to a defense that is lacking in those areas. would scare opposing WRs and TEs from going across the middle.

offense: Marcus McNeil/Jammal Brown/Joe Thomas - any one of these guys would ensure that our franchise QB doesn't become the next David Carr.
