Asomugha and new contract?
anyone have any credible updates as to where Asomugha and the Raiders stand regarding a new contract? haven't heard anything from either side for a while now.

while I have no credible sources, what i have HEARD is that Aso is one of Als favorite players and that he will get his big contract. They say Aso is just holding out on his franchise tender to get it as high as possible (if there are any trades/signings of CBs).
again, not saying this is fact, its just what I have heard.

im sure there waiting to cut jordan, im sure that the raiders are keeping in good contact with aso, and he will be a raider in long term. Theres no reason to just let him go with a 1 yr contract.

i don't see him playing "pedal to the metal" with a one year contract. and that scares me. an injury would suck with a one year tender.
