I'm not buying a jersey of a player who hasn't taken a snap on the field. He's not even signed yet. And he has baby mama drama so who knows if his off-field issues will hurt him or not. Way too early to drop $200 on this guy's jersey.

It's not really bragging rights to say you had the jersey of a #4 overall pick before he was good. He's supposed to be an excellent player. Maybe I'd be impressed if you bought a Johnnie Lee Higgins jersey and he turned out to be the next Tim Brown.

You know who doesn't have baby mama drama? Guys who wear condoms when they're bagging random chicks.

I don't even care about his baby mama drama or his off-field issues, but they do exist and that means his on-field performance could be affected by them. And if they do, I won't be stuck with a $200 snotrag like my Randy Moss jersey has become.

No need to jimmy up when you have a wifie. My money's not that short to worried about the 2 bills. Re plate your Moss jersey to Carter and maybe it won't be a waste. You could do the same with the #24 Woodson to Huff.

It's easier to do with the authentics.

Yeah but for the most part the authentics stripped and redone by companies without licenses look bootleg as hell. Gotta be really careful with them.

I know a place by my house that hooked up my high school jersey that does really good work. I don't think it would be too much to ask of them to remove an old plate on an authentic jersey. I've never had it done myself, but have heard of others doing it. The quality would probably depend on the condition of the jersey.
