Only the coaching staff and people close to the Raiders org know at this point. He barely played last year and to be honest I can't count 06 against him. NO QB could play in those conditions unless Jesus put on a helmet and went out there.

I wouldn't mind at all seeing Dante come back. He would be a great backup but he might still feel that he can start somewhere....

I agree in 2006 Walter got !@#$% our OL was weak and we ran the B&B offense. Brett Farve or Payton Manning would have got killed just like Walter did.

I still think Walter is a tremendously talented player, and its almost upsetting how bad of a situation he had when given his shot.


I think he'll be a fine back up.

Good point RINY. With that being said, I would feel more comfortable with Culpepper or Dilfer.
