It's not only about the Super Bowl, it's about the entire season.

There's so much I forgot, or maybe didn't even know. I hadn't realized that we got Mike Haynes mid-season that year. Or, that we lost to Seattle twice that year, and exacted our revenge in the AFC Championship game.

There's a lot of insight from Howie, Marcus, and Todd Christensen, stories on "Three Mile Lyle" and Hendrix.

There's a lot of love expressed for Tom Flores, and wonderment as to why he's hardly recognized for the great coach that he was.

I'm feeling sort of melancholy right now, remembering those days gone by.

A great view and must see for any Raider fan.

The exposé included these little tid-bits. There's a spot in there showing Paul McGuire during that draft that we got Marcus Allen, commenting that Marcus, "at 4.5, isn't particularly fast, and he fumbles a lot". McGuire adds, "Don't be surprised if they move him outside" - as in wide receiver.

The exposé has a lot of neat little tid-bits like that, stuff I have never heard or seen before, and I thought I've seen everything several times already. This must be a brand-new production.

The respect Howie has for Al really comes out. There's a few tid-bits there too, like Al suggesting to Howie around his HOF induction that he should come back and play - be the first HOF'er to do it - and Howie was 40 at the time . Howie said for a brief second, ... .

On the otherside, the contempt Marcus has for Al is there too. He said when told Al he wanted to run the ball more, Al told him to go run some laps .

It replays on NFLN at least tomorrow again, so ... .

The important part about this piece is that it has little to do with the Super Bowl. It's about the entire season, some parts of past seasons, some history, but mostly, the inner-workings and thinking of members of the team. The Super Bowl only takes up the last 10-minutes or so of the hour long program.

This has to be a fairly new production, there's references in there that are current.

And there's an eerie shot of a young Howie Long with long hair putting on his helmet, and let there be no doubt that Chris Long is his son - that young Howie and Chris look nearly identical. .

I never liked Tood much until I saw that piece, watching him break down at the end showed how much the game meant to him. I enjoyed his commentary as much if not more than the others.

As ridiculous as it may sound to some, the man won my respect with those tears! LOL
