What’s different between 06-07 and 08?

I think that we should stop speculating. We don't know anything, we won't know anything until the season starts.

In fact, it isn't even worth the time being on this site. There should only be two threads:

One titled "How will the Raiders do in '08?", where one person says "I have no idea, there is no way to know!" and everyone else says "Yeah, I agree with that accessment."

The other one would be titled "Off-season signings:", where every time we sign a new player someone posts their name and asks how they will do. Then everyone else says, "No way to know, he is unproven! He could get hurt! Gotta wait till the season starts!"

After all, no use making wild guesses. It's all conjecture.

That community college version of Philosophy 101 is spam at it's worst.

We're improved in many key areas, as I documented, and none of it has been refuted.

There's no mention of how we're worse, unless you're a big McCown or BMW fan.

Now, Al has playmakers to have a top 5 or 10 offense, and a top 5 or 10 defense. We're a few players away from top 5 in both.

As this thread points out, we've made tremendous leaps in talent on offense and defense. We're gonna be highly competitive this year because of the way Al set up and improved the team.

Of all the spam posts, none debated my points.

SD is getting worried.

We weren't top 20 in offense or defense last year. And now we are top 10 or 5? On paper maybe. Russell could turn out like akili smith, Bush could be ron dayne, and McFadden could be kijana carter for all we know. Maybe they will be Bettis, Roethisberger, and Tomlinson too. But you dont plug in a bunch of rookies and say we will jump from one of the worst offenses and defenses in the league to the top 10. Completely unrealistic.

Here’s Williams in 30 games:

60% more catches for Carter, and he had over 500 yards last year. BMW's best year was '05 at 350 (yards, not pounds!). Carter's getting better, while BMW has been getting worse.

That surely makes me forget Williams. You can’t be serious.
