I think that we should stop speculating. We don't know anything, we won't know anything until the season starts.

In fact, it isn't even worth the time being on this site. There should only be two threads:

One titled "How will the Raiders do in '08?", where one person says "I have no idea, there is no way to know!" and everyone else says "Yeah, I agree with that accessment."

The other one would be titled "Off-season signings:", where every time we sign a new player someone posts their name and asks how they will do. Then everyone else says, "No way to know, he is unproven! He could get hurt! Gotta wait till the season starts!"

After all, no use making wild guesses. It's all conjecture.

Perhaps I miss-interpretated your post, but it's simple to see there is only one side to this argument that can't be reached.

If your post wasn't meant in a condenscending manner than I sincerely apologize, however if was meant in such a way, than I stand by insinuation that your inabillity to resonate any degree of reasonable understading, must be caused by a rare genetic defect.

Well, I think you miss-interpretated [sic] my post because I wasn't trying to be condescending [sic]. But it seems my inabillity [sic] to resonate any degree of reasonable understading [sic] must indeed be a rare genetic defect, similar to the inability some have to use a spell checker.

Seriously, chill and think prior to attacking. I was actually agreeing with you to a degree. Now you lost me.

If you get rid of all the prima donnas, you won't have a good team.
With the #1 defense, you only need so many points to win the Superbowl.

The most friggin' awesome post on the subject ever.

That community college version of Philosophy 101 is spam at it's worst.

We're improved in many key areas, as I documented, and none of it has been refuted.

There's no mention of how we're worse, unless you're a big McCown or BMW fan.

I guess they're jelous they can't talk intelligently about the Raiders.

Where do these kids learn their manners?

Hmmmmm.
You gave dozens of opinions on why you think the Raider will be better this year.

"A bunch of babies trash the thread"........ Are you for real!?!!!???

Who trashed your thread??? Trashing is giving a different opinion than the one you want to hear? I think you're the one with drool on his bib!

As this thread points out, we've made tremendous leaps in talent on offense and defense. We're gonna be highly competitive this year because of the way Al set up and improved the team.

Of all the spam posts, none debated my points.

Dungver must be scared.
KC must be scared.
SD is getting worried.
We weren't top 20 in offense or defense last year. And now we are top 10 or 5? On paper maybe. Russell could turn out like akili smith, Bush could be ron dayne, and McFadden could be kijana carter for all we know. Maybe they will be Bettis, Roethisberger, and Tomlinson too. But you dont plug in a bunch of rookies and say we will jump from one of the worst offenses and defenses in the league to the top 10. Completely unrealistic.

Wow, thats a first, gonna call me out on some spelling mistakes on an internet forum? LOL....allright whatever....I'm at work, cut me some slack.

Misguided or not, I hope your optimistic view is spot on! I've engaged in far too many of these debates lately, time to have a beer and a call it a week.

Frankly, the same goes for every player in the NFL. They all suck when they’re injured and on the bench.

60% more catches for Carter, and he had over 500 yards last year. BMW's best year was '05 at 350 (yards, not pounds!). Carter's getting better, while BMW has been getting worse.

That surely makes me forget Williams. You can’t be serious.
