Hmm, not because McCown couldn’t hit his head with a fly swatter and BMW couldn’t catch a cab with a $1,000 tip?

There you go with the over the top optimism. Think we’ll win a game this year?

But how do you really feel?

If you get rid of all the prima donnas, you won't have a good team.
With the #1 defense, you only need so many points to win the Superbowl.

FWIW, I don't think our OL will be any worse than last year.

Kwame Harris is basically a lateral move from Sims whom Cable thinks he can resurrect. I actually thought Gallery played decent last season. Obviously a far cry from the expectations of a #2 overall pick of a few years back, but if he can lock down the LG gig for a few more years to come, he'll have at least salvaged his career. Wade is a solid veteran center who's been relatively injury free and started all 16 games for a decent Buc offense last season. Carlisle is money at RG and I think McNasty can lock down the RT job after finishing the season on a high note last season. I'm really hoping for some nice things from Mario Henderson this season as we gave up a lot to get him.

What I really liked from our QB play last season as opposed to the prior year under Tom Walsh was the fact that our plays were much quicker developing allowing our QB's to get rid of the ball a lot quicker which in turn lessened our sack total.. Kiff, Knapp and Cable really did a decent job of trying to minimize our deficiencies with very little in the way of a receiving threat. The additions of DMac, Bush, Walker, Carter, Shields should really open up things nicely for our offense.

dude mccown does have a hard time reading defenses...no doubt about it but the constant bs about it was all his fault is just silly. Bust as a LT, yes. Very good as a LG, yes.
no he wasnt that good at guard he just played better than last year so then you label him good.
Cable likes him. Did you tell him of your concerns before he made the trade? cable didnt trade for him...he was a free agent.

i guess you told him it was a good idea so thats why the raiders picked up big good for nothing harris.

So was Gannon. Green ain’t that bad. He ain’t pro-bowl material, but he’s decent.

please, please dont compare green and gannon.... wow how do you come up with this stuff. green played better than the rookie we drafted....thats not saying much.
There you go with the over the top optimism. Think we’ll win a game this year?

yes 2 to 4 wins are easy for this team to get. 6 to 8 wins will require the team to do better against the run and to be able to throw the ball a lot more.
But how do you really feel?
i feel like your just talkin just to talk so if you dont come with something better than "the voices in my head say that kiffin is god and harris and gallery should be in the hall of fame." i just stop posting cuz it aint getting pretty.

Agree. Galery only gave up one sack that was his fault, as I remember, and he's a good run blocker in the new system.

It's funny there was so much hate on Sims over the years, and now so many people think Harris is a huge downgrade.

Henderson had better produce. There's been enough draft embarassment already the past couple years.

Wade is solid and has been healthy, something none of our centers have been lately.

It will be interesting to see what Kiff does with all the offensive talent he now has.

I listed a dozen reasons we're better, and all you can do is twist the sack stats to blame the OL for gimpy Pepper and no-preseason-Jamarcus.

Sounds like I win.
What facts are those? All you pointed out is that we gave up a lot of sacks with 3 different Qbs. That doesnt show or suggest in any way shape or form that those sacks were coverage sacks or not. That in no way says it was because of a gimpy Qb or anything like that. I watched the games and I saw the o-line getting beat up quite a bit that caused most of the sacks we had. A few times the QB had time and didnt find anyone but most times it was because the line got beat. Your "facts" dont say any of the things that you try to make them say.

Oh and Gallery was better at gaurd but he wasnt even close to being very good at gaurd.
