All you young guys I had just started my freshman year in college when this happened.
It didn't really bother me as much...but I also am living on the East Coast.
I did like to see Al sticking it Rozelle over and over again though

Been a fan and season ticket holder since 1965. I was pissed when the moved but we continued our season tickets but we split them with another family so we would attend 4-5 home games in LA. I have been a season ticket holder since they have returned and have not missed a game in Oakland. We have been in this Raider thing so long I could never give it up it is a part of my life. More people know me by Raider Ran than Randy.

As my screen name may suggest I became a fan as a kid watching Bo Jackson play. I loved the guy and there was just something about the Raiders that enticed me as a trouble making kid. I have been following them avidly from the east coast my whole life so I do not really remember much of the first stint in Oakland. That being said I do think it is pretty sh*tty to bail on an entire city and alienate the fans, but because I have never lived in Oakland or LA I will support and be a lifelong Raider fan wherever they may move... f*ck it, if they move to Mars I will be a fan to watch them kick the crap out of some Martians!

I am from Jersey and I have been a fan since I was little, when they left I was heartbroken but I still supported them. I loved it when they moved back and I hope they stay in Oakland.

WAIT!! They moved from Oakland? When was this?
It never really mattered to me. They were always the Oakland Raiders.
Then again I lived in Wyoming at the time.

What i loved was the betting-slips from our local mafia affiliate, never changed the OAK as the teams indicater ... while the team was in LA it made me feel reministant for the old homestead.... but after they moved back it made me wonder "Did they always know Al would come back?"

When Davis moved the team he betrayed an entire city and moving back to Oakland was the smartest thing he did, but the welcome wasn't quite what he expected.
His moving the team was the beginning of the end for me with Davis. If he's smart he'll keep them in Oakland and perhaps one day he'll have the same type of support he once had.

I was still young, I think grade school when they moved, I was still a kid. I was a big baseball player and followed the Dodgers, we used to have their farm team here. I also liked the Lakers because Michael Cooper played college ball here....so I naturally gravitated to the Raiders when they moved to LA, and besides all they ever showed here was the stupid donkey games and I never liked Elway or that stupid team. The only way to hate the donks the most was to become a Raider fan, I think I was 7.
It didnt bother me that they moved back to Oakland, since I knew thats where they came from, in a way I was happy for the older generation Raider fans.

Same here.
I did wish that prior to Baltimore getting the Ravens that Al would move them there (closer to me). It was almost a done deal, then Al moved back to Oakland instead and Baltimore got the Ravens.

I'm a long time RAIDER fan (25 seasons). Nothing against Oakland, but if the RAIDERS came back to SoCal I would be so stoked.
RAIDERS LAKERS DODGERS KINGS!!!
