2008 Strength of Schedule

2008 NFL Strength Of Schedule
Look who's at the bottom!
However, we have the 3rd easiest schedule in the NFL next year.

Of course teams are subject to change, there has been more activity this free agency then probably ever before, and there will be surprise teams as well as teams that disappoint. Hopefully this schedule along with all the moves we have made can bring us back to respectabilty. I'm not saying we will, but the opportunity is definitely there this year.

Thoughts?

Good year to make a run and turn everything around.
Once again, this is the NFL. Anything is possible, any given season.

Please explain how the schedule is Pro Patriots?

All but 3 of the 16 games in a season are known out to infinity...........(barring re-alignment, team additions, etc.)

The AFC West (as a group) has the easiest schedule. The AFC East is second.

There is no Conspiracy!!!

Schedules come out years in advance so forget the crazy conspiracies. The Pats schedule is so weak because their division is so weak and they play our division which is weak right now.We need to take advantage this year

Lest we forget the play Miami (1-15), NY Jets (4-12), and Buffalo (7-9) each twice. That will go along way to making your strength of schedule look like a cake walk. No conspiracy here, move along, nothing to see...

These rankings never work out. Some years it's almost the complete opposite. Last year we ended up having a pretty easy schedule compared to what we were predicted to have. Helped by the decline of the Chiefs/Donks.

Can we stop this conspiracy crap now? NFL schedules from 2002-2009 are predetermined.

The Pats play us, the Chiefs, the Broncos, the 49ers, Rams, and Cardinals. Predetermined, but it does sound to me like an easy schedule. Oh, and playing the 1-15 Dolphins twice helps too, and 4-12 Jets twice. Much like how the Broncos, Chargers and Chiefs had some of the easier schedules because we brought it down.

The New England Patriots had the best record in the NFL last year, so that is going to skew their SOS against downwards because they don't have to play themselves...

Calm down...

I dont know who this post is aimed at, but I did not make this thread to show the nfl is biased lol. I was simply saying the pats are lucky to be in the superbowl one year and have the easiest schedule the next. I know the schedules are predetermined. I wanted to know people's thoughts on our chances of improving being that we have 1 of the easiest schedules.
