1. Champ, Despite what many say hes a great player and makes lots of game changing plays as well as shuts down many teams #1 WRs.

2. Namdi, The guy is a top notch tackler who can cover a teams #1 without even getting much help.

3. Chris Mccalister(sp?), hes a great cover corner when healthy and can tackle very well and doesn't make many mistakes.

4. Rasheen Mathis, here is a guy who is top notch in his system and gets lots of pics. He isnt a bad tackler either.

5. Marcus Trufaunt, hes was very good last season and turned into a solid all around corner.

6. Nate clements, He had an off year but still played ok and is a really good tackler.

7. Asante Samuel, I feel hes a guy who is good but hes had much better players around him in NE as well as the good pass rush and coaching. Hes still prone to being beat deep but makes up for him because he gets lots of Ints.

8.Lito sheppard, hes a damn good corner who has had some injuries and usually takes the other teams #1

9. Leigh Bodden, Hes a guy who played pretty well and always tries to take the best WR on the other team.

9. Charles Woodson, Yes I hate the fukking guy but hes still playing at a very high level and plays man coverage and can still hit, cover.

10. Terrance Newmen, Hes a guy who doesnt get a whole lot of Ints but he gets the job done and can shut #1s down.

11. Rhonde Barber

12. Marlin Jackson

13. D hall

14. Antonio Cromartie, a guy who can get beat deep and benefits from a damn good pass rush and is getting overated as a corner due to his return ablity.

15. Samari rolle

16. Nathan vasher

17. Anthony Henry

18. charles tillmen

20. Chris Gamble

21. Antoine winfield

22. Daunta robinson

23. Ken Lucas

24. Kelvin Hayden

25. Al Harris

26. Carlos Rogers

27. Sam Madison

28. Dre Bly

29. Queintin Jammer

30. Pac Man (hes not reinstated so I'm not going to put him any higher)

haha...i love how raider fans hate cromartie. Anyone can get beat deep....aso's defense gets beat short and deep, without his help.

Cromartie's return ability is due to his strength getting INTs..I guess you forgot to mention that. .how does having a good return ability go against being a good corner? and how does a DB leading the league in INTs rank 14th.

Cromartie benefits from having another solid DB on the other side from him, so he gets his picks.

Aso benefits of being a shut down corner by having a poor run defense and no help from the other side. theres just other options besides attacking his way. Best shut down corner..everrr

1: Champ Bailey (I know he isn't popular to many here but I still think he's the best in the league)

2. Aso (I have no intent to try and spell this mans name. I think you guys all know who I'm talking about. )

3. Chris McAlister (Probably spelled wrong)

4. TNew ( I was, honestly, surprised to see that his name is mentioned to little.)

5. Marcus Trufant

Some guys right on the cusp, IMO, of being top five are Cromartie, Clements, Hall, and Robinson.

Comartie while only being a starter for half the season has had the biggest impact of any corner in the league last year (lead league w/ picks 10 and 2 playoff picks. His unreal speed, ball skills, and game changing ability will in my opinion, firmly make him the unquestioned best cb in footbal by the end of next season. I have to check but im almost positive he led the league in passes defenced as well which doesent lend much evidence to the people who say he lacks coverage skills.

LOL@ the chargers fans here who are butt hurt. Take cro off of SD and put him on a team where he doesnt get a good pass rush and we will see how he does. I dont hate him either I can actually care less but just because hes a good return doesn't make him a good corner. He can be beaten as many others can but he can be beaten a lot more consistently then my top 5 I feel.
