Why? Because he had 1 off year on a horrible defense? I personally think the talent of corners is very scarce. In the same respect I beleive you can get by with average corners as long as you have the ability to get to the qb. Plenty of bias against Cromartie and Bailey. Nate Clements is the most overrated corner in the league and it has nothing to do with him being a niner. He was never that big a name when in Buffalo, but he got a monster contract going to san francicso and at least at the time became the highest paid defensive player ever.

maby because he is a top 3 CB? when he was thrown to he had 8 ints in 06 and last year he was only thrown at 24 times i think its safe to say he is that mighty impressive having that much respect from QBs, not taking anything away from Cro hes a great player but comparing the two is ridiculous for now lets see if he can do that again without a stellar defense and offense that allows him to see more opportunities

I think all the good ones have been named but I think Aso is the best in the league. He plays on an island almost every down and rarely even gets tested anymore. He can play in any system and be the best in the league, you can't say that about to many players in the league let alone a DB. I also like the CB's out in Carolina. Gamble and Lucas are studs too. They would be top 10ish though not top 5.

P.S. We have the best CB's tandem in the league...hands down!

You're joking right? Aso is known league wide as one of the best CB's in the league, get real bro, and Crom is good, but not as good as ASo yet, he had a lot of picks but does not shut down top receivers like Aso does. Gee, what a dumb comment.
