Why? Because it's apparent to many and therefore to Al, that Kiffin really stumbled with his play-calling, and im not sure he's even that good at it.

I know his involvement at USC, like Sarkisian was just offering up ideas/plays, which Carroll would more often ignore than employ, and so he was more involved as a skills coach.

Imo, Kiffin would be a great skills coach. So if Kiffin stays, i dunno, maybe Al is stripping him of his play-calling because he stunk at it, and someone like Saunders or Lofton would do a far better job, and it would allow Kiffin not to be so overwhelmed doing dual roles and therefore distracted from focusing on HC.

Many experienced HCs give up the play-calling duties due to this extra focus that distracts them.

But i can still see the 'plan' of firing kiffin, having Williams DC, Ryan HC, and Saunders/Lofton OC-AsstHC.

Or maybe no Ryan either, and Saunders HC with Lofton OC.

And still the same assistants like Cable there.

I'll admit some of his playcalls were iffy but my deal is you can't keep on firing coaches you have to stick with it somehow someway.

This is the guy I'm thinking about when it comes to this stuff.....JaMarcus Russell !!!

Do you know he is as important to this franchise then any other player on this roster ? If he keeps on getting coach after coach and new players doesn't come in here because of our organization bad rap we are DEAD and I mean DEAD

The worst thing that can ever happen is if Russell doesn't progress because of all this.

Yea but if he fires Kiffin we will owe him for his salary which will proclude him from taking another NFL job.

Here is something to ponder...Al trades Lane Kiffin to the Redskins for a mid round draft choice and then signs Al Saunders as head coach and Gregg Williams as asst. head coach/defensive coordinator.
