What would we do if DAL trades up and gets D-Mac 1st and STL gets Glenn Dorsey? Since our staff coached the Senior Bowl and since Sedrick Ellis tore it up, do you guys think we should get him with the 3rd or 4th pick?
This would suck if Big D stole D-Mac from us.

Actually, in my mind, this would be our best case scenario pending who we could get with those 2 1st rounders

The rumor isnt that we get their 2 1st rounders, they would trade with MIA, not with us.

I do not see Miami drop out of top 5 or Dallas give D-Mac #1 overall money. That do not make sense. I dont have the draft chart so I dont think Dallas have enough to get in top 5 but top 10.

Alot of factors, having nothing to do with draft picks will play a huge role.
-Who will be the coach?
-Oline system?
-How does this effect the status of Justin Fargas?
IMO, if Kiffin's not here, Fargas won't be either, which puts the Raiders in the market for a RB.
Even in the worst case scenario, the Raiders would end of w/Sedrick Ellis, which ain't exactly bad.

Agreed. And thats too far down for Miami to address their needs. Two low 1st's does not = the 1st overall. lol...
Dallas would have to throw in another 1st for '09, then I could see that. But bare in mind, any players included, Parcells has a strong working knowledge of all players on that Dallas roster, so either way, he's going to make Dallas bleed if they want that #1 overall...

All that needs to happen, Davis gets somewhat of a brain, keeps Kiffin and pretends this never happened, Rob Ryan gets fired and Kiffin brings in his own DC.
Cmon, please Davis, just grow half a brain.

I actually hope Dallas does trade up so people would shut up about D-Mac.

unfortunately, we are not in the position to draft the best player available, we have to many holes to fill .. so if its possible, the best case scenario isn't for dallas to trade with miami, but with us, it helps both teams in that dallas won't have to pay mcfadden #1 type money, we get 2 first rounders to draft 2 impact players .. but thats just wishful thinking

Is that because Fargas was Lane Kiffin's choice to start at RB?
Or because Fargas will not want to return to Oakland without Kiffin being in charge?
I personally believe that Michael Bush is the person with the most to lose when Lane Kiffin leaves. Clearly he was a Lane Kiffin choice. Do not forget, Al Davis nixed the idea of moving him onto the active roster. If Al Davis had been a fan someone else could have moved to injured reserve to make space!

And another 1st in '10. Dallas made the playoffs and were supposed to go to the Super Bowl. I gaurantee you they will go back to the playoffs next year. That is another low round pick for '09. It is very sickening to hear people especially in here want Dallas to have D-Mac. If Parcells want players, he should go after the pro-bowlers. They have plenty!
