Jim Plunkett ... A Real Raider

From "Youre OK, It's Just A Bruise" -- the book written by the Raiders team doctor during the LA years:

After getting knocked out of a game with a separated shoulder by a cheapshot from the 49ers Jeff Stover they had to pop his shoulder into place on the field, then it popped out as he was riding on the cart, it kept popping in and out as they drove him to the hospital in an ambulance. He was in a great deal of pain, but ....

Quote:
Plunkett and his wife Jerry, not only persuaded the nervous ambulance driver to jump out and get them a six-pack of beer on the way to Cedars-Sinai, they talked him into pulling the ambulance into the drive through at McDonalds for burgers and fries.

I remember that game and that play as if it where yesterday.

Stover picked up Plunkett and drove him into the ground which SHOULD have resulted in a penalty.

Was there one?

You guessed it… nope.

Therefore, your thoughts would have no validity, including the thought that life is a result of chance or natural processes. For it would be a proof that there are no such things as proofs. Which is nonsense.

By destroying the validity of ideas evolution undercuts even the idea of evolution.
