Don McCafferty 1974 Lions Coach (won a super bowl with the colts in 1970)

Unfortunately Mccafferty passed away before the 1975 season, but i would say this applies to the raiders, purge the roster kiffin and get it going next year with some real players

The only way you have 2 or more Raiders on your fantasy squad is if you're in a 75 team league and you need depth. Or ran out of options.

The problem is AL thinks he has talent. Remember others who interviewed for the job thought there needed to be a roster purge this year and he disagreed. Look who was right. The problem is, does Al realize it now.

The only bad thing about that quote is the Lions have only 1 playoff win since '57. 'next year' for them has been a long time.

It will be a blood letting on both offense and defense. In fact Im not sure one offensive starter is safe except perhaps Fargus and he will likely end up in a back up roll.
I think Lane will have the power to get the players he wants. The question if the players we need will be there in FA.
