The Avs haven't been that interesting lately so my attention hasn't been on the sport. But this does look like a good series.

The Cup Finals will begin on Wednesday May 30, 2012 in New Jersey between the LA Kings and the New Jersey Devils. I'm in a win win situation I like both teams so I'm just looking for some good Hockey. Hopefully the series will go seven games.

I think the Kings are going to win it in 5 game. The Devils aren't pushovers and have been doing what they can to keep themselves in games and will get lucky on a few bounces to beat Quick either game 3 or 4. Doughty's goal last night was a work of art - absolutely embarrassed that entire Devil's line.

GO KINGS!!! Lakers Dodgers Angels Usc Football LA Galaxy Why dont we have a football team again?
After last nights 4-0 shut out lost to the Kings the Devils have one foot in the grave and the other on a Banana peel. The Devils played well they just can't beat Quick, they may not even win a game.

CSA, this run by the Kings is something that I have not seen in my years of watching hockey. Not since the Isles, and the Oilers, I have not seen anything like this. Quick is doing some serious work in goal. I am truly impressed with what this team is doing. I have never seen a Devil team being out hit, out hustled, and clearly outplayed, but dang, the Kings are doing it. I didn't realize how much BIGGER the Kings were until one of the announcers made a comment on that.
New GM, new HC, new direction, I'm all in!
Word, they are on one hell of a roll the only team I can think of who was this good in the playoffs would be the old Montreal Canadians back in the original six days. The Kings forwards are all big, fast, young and tough and the entire team hits. Then they have Quick in goal, talking about stacking the deck and we have not even started talking about their head coach yet. Everyone forgets that they fired their HC earlier this season when they could not score goals. Sutter came in and pulled all the right strings, the Kings are ballin.

The Devils avoided a sweep last night with a 3-1 win in game four and I have a beef with the Ref.Late in the 3rd period with the Devils leading 1-0 one of the Refs made a terrible boarding call on the Devils David Clarkston I mean terrible. The Kings immediately scored on the power play for a 1-1 tie and you could feel the momentum swing. Fortunately for the Devils they scored another goal to take a 2-1 and added a empty net goal for the final score. Now it's back to Jersey for game five I'd still like to see the series go seven games, I'm not ready for the season to end.

Interesting game 6 tonight. Kings lost first road game of the playoffs in game 5. Don't think Kings can afford to lose this game. Devils will be awfully tough in game 7 on home ice. On another note, congratulations to the Norfolk Admirals(AHL affiliate of the Tampa Bay Lightning) on winning the Calder Cup in a four game sweep of the Toronto Marlies.
