Kiprusoff helps Flames hold off Sharks (AP)

Something about the teal jerseys, the white pompoms and the Shark Tank's earsplitting crowd inspires fantastic hockey from Stephane Yelle and his teammates. Yes, nobody loves a playoff game in San Jose more than the Calgary Flames, who got off to another fine start against their favorite postseason hosts.

For some reason the Sharks suck on home ice.

Calgary is tough. Joe Thorton better bring it in game 2. No way the Sharks go down 0-2 in San Joser

Calgary getting to an early lead definitely helped, since it forced the Sharks to play from behind at the get-go. I don't really know much about the Sharks, but this could be a good series.
