Avs' Forsberg out with groin strain (AP)
Colorado Avalanche center Peter Forsberg missed Sunday night's game against the Dallas Stars with a groin injury. He was listed by the club as day-to-day. Forsberg sustained the injury in Saturday's 3-1 victory over Dallas. He re-signed with the Avalanche on Feb. 25 and has two assists in three games, both coming Saturday.
