I just noticed this section or I would have spoke up earlier. How many think that the Kings were robbed in Game 6 of 2002 western conference finals against the Lakers. And if so how many think the NBA is fixed to stretch playoffs series. I think personally that the garbage refs should have been suspended after the pitiful foul calling in that game. Almost reminds me of the tuck rule game.

- But they were still robbed by the refs in 4th qtr of game six

Guess you missed game 5 of that series in which the home team Kings were handed a victory by the refs....

Go back and take a look at the horrific calls/no calls that were made in favor of the Kings that game and get back to us....

First of all those were 25 free throw attempts not 25 foul calls...

BIG DIFFERENCE!

Believe it or not the refs were catering to the hometown Kings just as much if not more in game 5 than they were in game 6 for the home team Lakers!

Also , you didn't include the fact that those 25 free throw attempts were in the 4th qtr PLUS the extra overtime period....

More importantly

4TH QTR FOULS IN GM 6:

Lakers: 16

Kings: 8

4 of those 16 calls which resulted in 8 of those 25 free throws were intentionally made by the Kings late in an attempt to stop the clock and make a desperate comeback! Without that the discrepancy is a more reasonable 12 to 8!

Also , just to add to the facts I've presented let me also include that The Artist formerly known as Shaq scored ZERO points in the 4th qtr of game 5 due to spending most of it on the bench with foul trouble.....

The fact of the matter is the Kings choked like no other team in a game 7 on their home court has choked before!

They missed what seemed like every single crucial shot and choked on almost every single free throw awarded to them down the stretch....

If the Kings make just 65 percent of their free throws they win that game , instead they barely cracked 50% if my memory's right.....

Just telling it like it is man....

I'm not a Laker fan to say the least, but I have to say that the Kings were NOT robbed. The only bad call was when Kobe ran Bibby over, busted his nose and no foul was called on Bryant.

Regarding the fouls, I think half or more came on consciously instituting the Hack-A-Shaq technique. You take away the Shaq fouls, then the foul disparity no longer exists and all is even.
