The Happening
This movie will get a lot of bad rep just because it's M Knight Shamalahn. HOWEVER... Rolando and I went and saw it Friday. I give it a B- It had some cool death scenes, and the plot reminded me a lot of Signs in a way (no there's no aliens). But it was DEFINITELY better than The Village and Lady in the Water by FAR! I think if you liked Signs, you will like this.

I liked SIGNS... till the whole,Advanced species crosses the galaxy to attack a farm house on a planet that is 75% water...
WATER that is like acid wrapped in poisen to them...
Oh yeah ... and after flying across the universe they attack NAKED !

until that part it was a good flick.

I really hope this movie does good at the box office because I'm sick and tired of seeing PG-13 horror/suspense movies, but I haven't read too many good reviews about it. I think as a filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan is very talented though, I just wish he was a better screenwriter.

I agree 100%

PG-13 movies are getting so dumb. And USUALLY the ones that are rated R (like hostel) are nothing but which I know you guys don't mind, but come on... we're in it for the gore IMO. Give me some texas chainsaw massacre any day hehe
