Webb outduels Peavy, Arizona wins 2-1 (AP)

Brandon Webb got a little boost for his matchup with fellow ace Jake Peavy -- the return of regular catcher Chris Snyder. Webb outpitched Peavy in a battle of the last two NL Cy Young Award winners, Snyder hit a two-run homer and the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the San Diego Padres 2-1 on Sunday. Webb (6-0), the 2006 Cy Young winner, allowed just one unearned run and twice escaped bases-loaded jams...

I went to the game. It was boring, like all Padres games. But it's close so I go.
